A global investment management firm is looking for an intelligent outgoing part-qualified accountant to join their Finance department as an Assistant Accountant. You will have an eye for detail, well spoken and articulate, and looking to gain a professional qualification in Accountancy (either ACCA or CIMA). This organisation are specifically looking to develop an individual within this position, they are offering study support as well as exposure within the wider finance team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone wanting to break into investment management, as such your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and completion of Management Accounts and Group reporting, ensuring delivery of financial management information
• Calculation and processing of monthly income and expenses and ensure all payments to suppliers are processed in a timely and accurate manner
• Preparation of Entity Board reporting, including management of sign off process
• Supporting the wider Finance Team, Financial Controller, Head of Finance and CFO as required.
• Support of all of the firms entity treasury activities, assisting all entities to ensure adequate treasury controls and processes, and supporting entity accountants where required on a day to day basis.
