My client, a foreign exchange brokerage firm, is looking for a graduate to join their finance team in London. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with an interest in pursuing a finance career within the financial Services industry with the goal of becoming an accountant.
The firm provides a comprehensive training and development scheme to progress you through the ranks as quickly as possible. Additionally, a full study package is on offer to assist you with becoming a fully qualified accountant with a professional qualification (ACCA or ACA) including a generous amount of paid study leave.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of client money reconciliations
- Preparation of daily journal entries
- Assist with analytics on financial and non-financial information
- Assist the finance department at month end
- Assist in the accounts payable function
- Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitoring and processing client deposits
- Monitoring and processing client withdrawals
- Assisting with client queries in relations to deposits, withdrawals and other ad hoc queries
- Supporting the team with ad hoc tasks
Skills & Experience will include
- Graduate with a minimum 2:1 ideally in Accounting/Finance
- Looking to study ACCA or ACA
- Experience of working within Financial Services is preferred but not necessary
