Assistant Accountant / £22K - £28K / Northwich / 3 Month Fixed Term Contract

I am representing a rapidly growing company based in Northwich, looking to expand their finance team. They are looking for an experienced & part qualified finance professional, either newly qualified or studying towards CIMA, ACA, or ACCA. Duties:

• Sales Commission reporting
• Control account reconciliations
• Cost centre reports
• Assisting Management & Commercial Accountant
• Invoice processing onto SAGE
• Reconciliation of Purchase Ledger Control Account
• Coding POs raised
• Cash book reconciliations
• Process multi currencies and accounting for exchange differences
• Analysing credit card spend & processing
• Creating Purchase Ledger payment list
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Various reports using Excel including monthly management reports
• Managing workload and monitoring Outlook Inbox
• Assisting credit control team with any reports when needed

Experience required:

• Studying towards CIMA, ACA or ACCA / Newly qualified
• Sage
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
