Marks Sattin currently working with a PE backed business within the security sector based in Leeds for the role of Assistant Management Accountant!

Our client are recruiting for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to support our Finance Team in delivering timely and accurate financial information.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the production of management accounts, the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with transactional finance tasks.

The successful candidate will be AAT level 3/4 qualified and keen to study CIMA/ACCA. Our client will pay up to £30,000 and can also offer hybrid working!

Key Responsibilities include:

Management Accounts Preparation:

• Support the Finance Team in the preparation of management accounts and monthly close process.
• Perform other month-end duties as required.

Balance Sheet Reconciliations:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare prepayments and accruals for Group companies.

Journal Entries:

• Prepare and post journals into the accounting system.

Year-End Audit:

• Assist with the year-end audit process, including responding to auditor queries.

Transactional Finance Support:

• Support the wider finance team through key transactional duties such as bank reconciliations, invoice posting, and receipt processing.
