Assistant Management Accountant | Manchester City Centre | Temporary to Permanent Contract | £30,000-£40,000
Marks Sattin are excited to be working exclusively with a fast-growing Tech company based in Manchester City Centre. As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in recording, analysing, and presenting key financial data. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for supporting sales invoicing, transaction recording, credit control, and contributing to the improvement of our invoicing processes.
Responsibilities:
Review sales orders, process into customer and invoice records using Maxio.
Support credit control function, utilizing e-invoicing and system functionality.
Proactively identify opportunities for automation in the order-to-cash process.
Review revenue analytics, ensuring completeness and accuracy, owning revenue KPIs.
Conduct financial reviews to trial balance level, supporting balance sheet reconciliations.
Analyse income statement for correct coding.
Assist in ad-hoc analysis and forecasts for budgets, reforecasts, and cashflow projections.
Maintain records for audit and identify areas for process improvement.
Requirements:
Responsibility-driven approach.
Analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Good IT skills, including Excel, Xero (preferable).
Ideally part-qualified in a relevant professional qualification.
Experience preparing and maintaining financial records to Trial Balance level.
Exposure to group accounting, intercompany adjustments, and multicurrency consolidations advantageous.
Experience within a Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) environment preferred.
Exposure to US accounting and regulations is beneficial.
