A leading transport and Logistics company are looking to hire an ambitious Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant to provide effective, accurate and timely processing and preparation of the company's weekly and monthly financial information.

Reporting into the company Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all areas of preparing weekly and monthly management accounts, variance analysis whilst business partnering with other company divisions.

Duties include:

• Preparing the monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries
• Assist with the preparation of the half year and annual accounts
• Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Weekly reporting, including KPI's, revenue & cost reports
• Support all month end processes
• Ad hoc support

The successful candidate MUST be part qualified, have strong Excel skills (pivot tables/V-Lookups) and ideally have experience in handling large data sets.

Experience on JD Edwards, SAP or Buisness Objects is desirable.
