Industry: Private Equity
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Location: London (Hybrid).
Company Profile:
London-based boutique PE investment firm which specialises in mid market European investments.
Role:
An exceptional opportunity for candidates who are looking to make a move into an in-house prestigious PE firm. The CFO is one of the most enthusiastic mentors I have come across.
They need a strong end to end Fund Accountant to join. Given the company has a headcount of 30, you would be sitting alongside the Directors and Partners of both the Finance and Investment piece, with our candidates we have placed there claiming unparalleled exposure.
Complete end to end role, from interacting with the deals team to investor valuations, investor capital calls, quarterly & annual financial statements and investor reports.
The Responsibility:
- Investor capital calls, distributions and cash management
- Investment drawdowns and distributions
- Investment valuations
- Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements and Investor Reports
- Assisting the Investor Relations team with data requests and Fund performance metrics
- Maintaining relationships with TPPs (auditors, tax advisers, banks)
Requirements:
- Experience of Private Equity fund accounting either with an administrator or inhouse at a GP firm
- Knowledge and full understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS & other relevant accounting standards is essential
- Qualified Accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent
P.S. Progression internally is very quick and they have a laid back, informal but collaborative culture.
