Marks Sattin are currently working with a major global manufacturer to assist in the recruitment of a Business Analyst. This is a new position which will sit alongside the BI team to help bridge the gap between the technical teams and the wide business.

My client is looking for someone to work effectively with Business Information, Data Governance and IT Communities to identify Business requirements issues and needs with regard to Technology, Systems, Infrastructure, Data and Information.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in some of the following:

• Experienced, hands on, BI / Technical Business Analyst, capturing business process, business and technical, system requirements, data mapping to support end to end IT/IM deliverables
• Hands on experience of delivering multiple concurrent technical projects and initiatives, maintaining deadlines, managing resource dependencies and mitigating issues
• Good understanding of BI best practice with good general BI knowledge, including the technical end to end delivery lifecycle from requirements capture, mapping data items, Design ETL/Enterprise Data Models, Build, ETL, EDM, Data Marts, Cubes , Reports as well as release management, testing and User Acceptance.
• Excellent at relationship building skills, constructively challenging points of view, adapting style and content for different audiences
• Demonstrable experience of influencing and effective collaboration with IT and Business Teams, strong stakeholder management and
• Possesses strong analytical and technical IT knowledge
• Good business acumen

It is desirable to have prior experience in Qlikview or SAP BW for this Business Analyst role.
