COMMERCIAL FINANCE ANALYST

I am recruiting the role of Commercial Finance Analyst for my client based in Wakefield who are part of a global FTSE 100 plc business in the manufacturing industry. The role is truly unique in that you will have immediate exposure to key stakeholders within the business and the wider group. You will be a main point of contact within the commercial team and will provide accurate, timely and insightful commercial and procurement support to the business.

Key Accountabilities

• Being the principal contact to the Commercial function, providing insightful, accurate and timely support.
• Ownership of the Commercial budgeting and forecasting process, from beginning to end.
• Production of weekly sales reporting, along with supporting analysis and commentary.
• Management of the short-term and long-term discounts, ensuring all promotions and business terms are set up accordingly.
• Analysis of short-term and long-term discount invoices to ensure they are compliant with authorised documentation.
• Posting of short-term and long-term discounts.
• Reconciliation of periodic sales to nominal ledger.
• Appropriate period end analysis and support work.
