Our client, a leader in the aviation sector is looking for an interim Commercial Finance Manager to support the wider FP&A team!

- 3-6 Month Initial Contract (Interim to Perm)
- Immediate Start!
- £300-400 Per day DOE (Inside IR35) / £60-£70k Per Annum + Bonus + Additional Benefits

**Job Purpose Summary:**

The role involves creating, developing, maintaining, and supporting regular forecasting to help the business assess the performance of airline customers and routes against budget, forecast, and previous year, while providing insights into any variances.
**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:**
- Lead analysis to generate annual traffic and aeronautical income projections, including Passenger, Cargo, and General Aviation.
- Monitor monthly traffic and income performance, adjusting future forecasts based on variances.
- Assist in airline commercial negotiations and develop business cases.
- Understand existing airline contracts and their financial impact, incorporating them into internal performance reporting.
- Provide support and understanding of the slot allocation system and airport operations.
**Knowledge, Skills & Experience:**
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in aviation traffic and income forecasting.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Ability to identify, maintain, and utilize relevant data sources.
- Proficiency in delivering presentations.
- Capacity to prioritize and adapt to changing demands.
- Ability to handle commercially confidential information with discretion.
**Person Specification:**
- Experienced aviation analyst with a background in preparing and presenting aviation traffic and income forecasts, preferably in an airline, airport, or consulting role.
- Autonomous self-starter capable of driving outcomes independently or collaboratively.
- Team player comfortable working in a small team environment.

- Able to thrive under pressure and apply rigor and attention to detail to all tasks.
