Role overview:

• Lead the FP&A agenda within a specific customer, influencing and supporting business decisions by providing timely, accurate and relevant management information.
• Add value, through insightful financial objectivity. Challenge commercial decisions and add to cross functional discussions and process setting.
• Lead the process for the specific customer's P&L/budget/forecast. Ability to contribute to informed business decision making.
• Preparation of defined monthly reports, providing valuable insight into the customers commercial performance. Ensuring that the said reports are prepared and produced to the agreed timescales.
• Identify, challenge and proactively satisfy internal customer requirements via best in class Business Partnering. Build a service which will enhance effective delivery of contribution targets.
• Engaging with non-financial departmental personnel across the business, in order to influence behaviour and optimisation of business process(s).

In order to be considered:

• Must have post qualification commercial experience, ideally in a manufacturing/FMCG/Retail based industry using lean techniques;
• Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel;

• Ability to manage self and influence others.
• Ability to explain financial issues to non-finance managers;
• Able to understand business problems, translate into workable solutions and deliver understandable results;
• Proactive, team player who is comfortable engaging with other parts of the business to support / challenge and continuously drive improved performance;
• Passionate and committed to delivering work to a high standard in line with deadlines;
