Their client base consists of HNWIs, directors and trusts through to a range of OMBs and large groups with associated complex tax compliance and advisory project work requirements. Job Description

In a mixed compliance and advisory focused role, joining as a Tax Senior, you will take responsibility for undertaking predominantly personal tax compliance and advisory work across CGT and IHT tax research and preparing reports, with corporate tax work on complex Corporation Tax compliance, VAT and SDLT

You will prepare and review personal, partnership and trust tax returns enclosures, undertake preparation of CGT computations and also assist with marketing the tax department and supporting the Senior Tax Manager /Partner in a key role in the firm. You will monitor the work output of the tax return department, review tax returns and meeting and liaise with clients and potential clients in connection with their tax affairs.

The Successful Applicant

You may be ATT qualified and/or, either working towards, or already hold the CTA qualification as a Tax Senior, or Qualified By Experience.

You will have a minimum of four years experience of working within a tax environment.

Previous experience of meeting and advising clients of their tax position.

Able to demonstrate experience of researching matters and reading the necessary legislation.

Good written and verbal communication skills, so to be able to explain tax to clients and other staff.

Able to work off their own initiative as well as with colleagues

What's on Offer

Circa £30,000 - £36,000 negotiable, dependent on experience and background, plus benefits.
