Credit Control

Wakefield, £22,000-£24,000

An exciting Wakefield based business with an impressive client portfolio is currently looking to take on a senior credit controller.

The vacancy has recently been created due to relocation of parts of the finance team and there is an immediate need for a capable Credit controller that is able to perform in a stand alone/autonomous role.

You will be expected to support the credit manager/sales ledger team in collecting debts within payment terms. Other duties will include but not be limited to: keeping overdue balances to a minimum, allocation of cash, maintaining sales ledger accounts, liaising with internal departments, completion of ad hoc requests and working on ad hoc projects when required.

Ideally you will have at least a years experience working with in credit control in am environment that has proven your capability to work independently. Good knowledge of Excel is a must and SAP knowledge would be beneficial but is not mandatory.

You will receive a generous salary within a business that has good transport links via public transport & on site parking with a good chance to develop into a more permanent role.
