Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with a Leeds centre based professional services business who are looking to hire an experienced Credit Controller with Dutch language skills.
Covering their Benelux region, you will be joining a newly created Credit Control team for the business which covers part of Europe. If you have experience in International Credit Control, you can also be considered for this position, but ideally you will be a Dutch speaker.
To be successful in this role you will enjoy relationship-building, problem-solving, and taking ownership of your work.
As a French/Dutch-speaking Credit Controller, you'll play a key role in managing cash flow and reducing overdue debt, working closely with both internal teams and external clients.
In return, our client will pay up to £32,000 on a 35 hour working week, on a hybrid basis (2 days from home per week) and 26 days holiday per annum.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, liaising with both English- and French/Dutch-speaking clients
- Building strong relationships with customers to encourage timely payments and resolve queries
- Monitoring and reducing overdue balances, implementing tailored payment plans where necessary
- Working closely with internal teams to improve processes and drive efficiencies
- Producing reports to keep management informed of collections progress
About You
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in credit control, finance, or a customer service role within an international business where you used your language skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage workloads independently
