Marks Sattin's Surrey Office are happy to be supporting a well-established professional services organisation based in Crawley, West Sussex to find a Credit Controller. This position has arisen due to someone moving away, sitting in a team of 9 you will report directly to the Credit Control Supervisor. The team is comprised of two parts, with half focusing on B2B and the other B2C - This role has a specific focus on private wealth/individuals.

The Duties:

• Chase all overdue debts by telephone and letter
• Update clients with monthly statements
• Negotiating payment of overdue accounts
• Maintain aged debtor portfolio to ensure aged debt is chased and collected
• Being a point of contact for any queries, correspondence - and any follow up action

The Candidate:

• Previous experience of working within a credit control role of at least 2 years - Ideally consumer focused
• The drive to develop in your next role and settle long term
• Exceptional communicator across all levels both internally and externally
• Previous experience of negotiating repayment of aged debt - liaising with the partner, fee earner internally and assessing repayment
• Great working knowledge of MS word, especially MS Excel
• A working knowledge of Elite 3e and ARCS systems (Desirable)
