Data Lead

A global Oil and Gas company is looking to roll out a standardised and centralised new Information Management and Document Control Solution using the Bentley Asset Lifecycle Information Management tool. A Data Lead is required to manage the data management activities as the data and documents are migrated from the legacy systems to the new centrally hosted Bentley systems. The management, cleansing and migration of large volumes of data and documents is a critical part of the programme execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Lead for the Engineering Information Management Programme
• Manage the data management activities as the data and documents are migrated from the legacy systems to the new centrally hosted Bentley systems
• Manage and lead the East and West Hemisphere Data Leads
• Own and continually improve the Data/Document Migration Strategies
• Support in the management of Global Data Cleanse Providers

Required skills/experience

• Knowledge of Engineering Information Management as an asset
• Extensive knowledge of Oil and Gas Data Management and industry standards related to migrating multiple types of key operational data and documents
• Experience of migrating data/documents onto a centrally hosted Bentley system
• Knowledge of the Bentley Tool for Asset Data and Document Management or equivalent Data and Document management systems
• Proven track record of managing Data/Document load processes onto Bentley systems
• Extensive experience in data migration and global systems cutover activities
• Flexibility and willingness to travel outside of the UK
