Are you an exceptionally organised individual with an outstanding eye for detail? I am looking to recruit a Duty Coordinator to oversee the operational requirements of the retail giant Homebase.
Homebase is part of the Home Retail Group, a FTSE 250 organisation that is also responsible for Argos and Habitat. With a revenue of over £5000 Million in 2013, this opportunity offers an exciting chance to get practically involved in a new aspect of this business.
At present, the Duty team is undergoing an insourcing project, and this role is responsible for overseeing the operational impact on Homebase specifically. You will therefore be required to analyse and correct the relevant reports, and ensure all data received is accurate and therefore collates with the wider business function.
The role:
- Responsible for the management of daily analysis relating to outstanding SDI reports
- Ensure data is correctly processed on the system
- Create the airfreight consignments in the CFSP system
- Act as first point of call for any customs duty related queries
- Ensure accuracy of duty rates in the landed cost model and subsequently in SAP
- Ad-hoc project work
The individual:
- Experience of Customs Duty
- Articulate and analytical
- Excellent IT skills, specifically in respect of data analysis
- A motivation to develop as a Customs professional
