The Client: Global Private Equity Firm
The Location: Central London - Hybrid Working
This is a new Finance Associate position to join a team of 4 which offers organic growth. You will be joining a team of 4 and reporting to Senior Finance Associate.
The Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role (Financial Services would be a bonus)
- 2:1 at University or AAT qualified
- Strong Academic background
- Exposure to system implmentation or project work
- Exposure using Netsuite and Concur
- Strong communication as you will deal with internal stakeholders
The Role:
- Management of the purchase ledger within SAP Concur and Netsuite accounting system
- Preparation and processing bi-weekly payment runs
- Management of operational cash balances to ensure adequate funding of payment runs, monthly direct debits and ad-hoc payments; and
- Building relationships with RBS, Wells Fargo and Commerzbank banking teams to assist in the resolution of payment queries.
- Preparation of bank account reconciliations (including foreign currency bank accounts); and
- Preparation of various expense reconciliations and ad-hoc analysis.
- Monthly uploads to reallocate travel, courier, taxi and professional calls costs to the correspondent project/cost centre;
- Assisting other members of Finance Team with ad-hoc project work and analysis, with particular focus on improving existing processes.
