Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Location: Leeds

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus package

Hours: Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid (two days in the office)

Overview

We are working in partnership with our client to find their next, above par, Finance Business Partner who has experience in providing financial support across all areas in an organisation. You will have the natural ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and reporting directly into the FM, you will have one direct report so will have experience of people management.

Requirements

• A qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Very strong Excel skills and computer literate
• Working knowledge of Management Information systems
• Experience of working in a finance department
• The ability to work in a busy environment
• Book keeping, accrual and pre-payment knowledge
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Reliable, enthusiastic and a 'can do' approach
• A collaborative style and able to build strong working relationships

The Role

• Line manage the Commercial Finance Analyst
• Preparation of monthly and year end accruals and prepayments and to post journals as necessary
• Producing reports and the preparation of month end -packs
• Assist with/input into budgets via meeting attendance
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring the balance sheet position is reflected correctly
• Participation of monthly finance results meetings plus departmental results with the relevant head of department
• Support the FM with the larger functions and take the lead on other departments to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and other support areas
