This is a key strategic and operational position within a growing organisation, holding overarching responsibility for driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making. This exciting role reports directly to the Financial Controller and collaborates closely with cross-functional managers and teams.
The primary focus is to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting, enhance business performance, increase revenue, and reduce debt across the organisation.
Duties will include:
- Provide ad-hoc analysis, financial modelling, and consolidation for the COO, CEO, and CCO as required.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and commentary on weekly and monthly performance to the C-Suite.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best financial practices, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Ensure timely completion of key deliverables for financial close, forecast reviews, and annual operating plans.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team on month-end reporting and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Design and implement standardised financial reporting to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage dashboards and reporting packs that are accurate and up to date.
- Support the COO and operations managers in challenging and improving business performance.
- In-depth understanding of multiple P&Ls and balance sheet reporting, including KPI metrics and the ability to discuss with non-financial team members.
- Provide financial analysis and support to business unit management to drive informed decision-making.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree or Level 9 Business Qualification
- Financial Qualification (qualified or part qualified accountant, preferably CIMA)
- Proven analytical, influencing and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts possible solutions and corrective
- Financial Analysis and Modelling techniques and ability to analyse and interpret financial data
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel and financial reporting systems.
- Experience with data visualisation tools like PowerBI are a distinct advantage
This role will require travel within Ireland - a fully Irish Driving licence is essential
