A London based technology company is currently seeking a Finance Director to manage a team of 40 to ensure the smooth day to day running of the core finance function. A strong candidate will have worked within tech/digital businesses and have experience managing a large team. The position is due to last 6 months in duration, however there is a strong potential to be extended.

Key Responsibilities:

• Along with the CFO, shape and deliver a strategy for the finance team
• Be the finance lead on any M&A process, coordinating with advisors and other teams within the business
• Manage a team of c40 people - 4 direct reports
• Have overall accountability for Financial Control and Compliance including month end, year end, accounting and internal audit etc
• Work with the commercial finance team to co-ordinate the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts process

An ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional accountant and have experience in the following sectors: Technology, Media, Publishing, and/or marketing. Along with this, strong technical accounting skills, exceptional leadership skills and be a credible business partner. Experience within listed / multinationals is essential to the post holder as well as proven experience in fast growth / change environment.
