This SME is expanding at an impressive rate providing a suitable platform to build upon the company's rich heritage and historical background. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands on experience in a social environment and work alongside a team focussed on increasing the company's presence within the market.
Reporting to the Managing Director your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the Accounting and Finance function in a broad role overseeing Manufacturing, Wholesale, Retail and Web Promotion
- Provide key accounting and finance management to deliver growth trough best in class strategy, reporting and control
- Provide strong commercial acumen to improve processes and create effective strategic planning in accordance with budgeting and forecasting
- Demonstrate leadership in taking responsibility and initiative within a diverse manufacturing to retail operation
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) however Part Qualified and QBE may still be considered. Previous exposure within a manufacturing, product and retail industry will be highly advantageous. You will have had a proven track record in providing strategic decision making and managing the Finance function within a SME organisation. The candidate will demonstrate drive and ambition through leadership with the opportunity to progress into further seniority.
