Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a fast-growth and entrepreneurial business based in Warminster to recruit a Finance Manager to join the team. This will be a busy and hands on role, working closely with non-finance areas of the business to ensure a smooth manufacturing process and tight cost control to deliver the best financial results possible. A keen eye for process improvement and a background in manufacturing, FMCG or related sectors will serve you well.

The Finance Manager Role

This role would suit somebody with manufacturing, FMCG or associated sectors with a good grasp of areas around transactional finance and management accounting. Alongside this you will have had exposure to sector related areas such as cost accounting, wastage management, business partnering and the desire to roll your sleeves up and engage with the production floor.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Oversee all areas of transactional finance and month end
• Lead financial planning and forecasting
• Work closely with group finance for areas of reporting and analysis
• Proactively manage and monitor trends and risks to financial performance
• Work closely with budget holders in relation to expenditure and financial control
• Business partner with non-finance leaders within the site

Key Skills and Experience

• Qualified by ACCA, ACA or CIMA or qualified by experience
• Experience working within a related industry: supply chain, manufacturing, FMCG
• Strong communicator and ability to translate financial data into useful information for non-finance leaders
