We are currently partnering with a leading business services corporate that is focused on quality engagement and long-term relationships within their specialised field. Due to a slight restructure across finance, there now exists an opportunity for a qualified accountant to join as Finance Manager to manage a small team oversee daily and monthly finance requirements.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the statutory accounting and tax reporting for the business and entities and managing the reconciliations process. In addition, you will manage the external audit process and provide technical accounting guidance and ad hoc project support where required. The position will also work closely with the FD and help develop the business strategy from an accounting perspective. Key to the role will also be managing and developing a small team and wider finance function, including transactional accounting.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) and your background will demonstrate strong operational accounting and technical expertise, ideally with experience of working in a growing business. You will have hands-on skills of preparing statutory accounts and whilst at the same time have experience of managing finance staff of different levels. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to partner across the business and also manage and lead the team.
