As a Manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of companies, deliverables include:
- Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts, preparation of annual statutory financial statements and preparation of group consolidated statutory accounts.
- Maintaining the books and records of the companies in their portfolio.
- Calculating effective interest rates of financial instruments.
- Preparation of tax declarations to UK tax authorities (VAT, P11D assistance, CIS, Intrastat, EC Sales List).
- Responsible for the set-up of newly on-boarded companies in allocated portfolio.
- Attend clients' meetings and demonstrate professional rapport with all clients.
Requirements for the Manager role:
- Part Qualified (or close to PQ) ACCA or CIMA
- Must have experience working with Auditors
- Financial services background is advantageous
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS102) accounting standards, including IAS39 Financial Instruments Disclosure
- Understanding of VAT and experience in preparing and submitting VAT returns
