A fashion retailer based in west London is currently seeking a Finance Operations Manager t join their busy finance function. This is a newly created role to oversee the transactional function and get involved with projects, change and manage the financial systems.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring effective running of the transactional finance systems, improve functionality of the finance systems, work with the Financial Controller and Director to manage change implement change and improve processes, review and approve the finance transactional activity including accounts payable, accounts receivable and expenses, approve bank payments, identify and implement short term tactical improvements across transactional processes as well as managing and motivating the team (team of 9 with 4 direct reports).

The ideal candidate will have experience of running a transactional finance team or small shared service centre. You will be accomplished at finance process improvement and systems implementations and commercially astute with a hands on, proactive work ethic.
