Financial Accountant | Oil, Gas & Energy | Middlesex

A global energy business are recruiting for a newly-qualified Financial Accountant to join their Group Reporting team based in Middlesex. The role is very much global in nature and provides an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to gain exposure to a wide range of accounting issues, network with a variety of other Finance and non-finance teams and offers an insight into the Group's financial reporting processes.

Working in a team of 4, this role would be responsible for preparing financial statements, reviewing the accuracy and data integrity of financial data to resolve any queries, liaise with business policy and control teams, tax, treasury and external auditors.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ideally ACA) with knowledge of IFRS, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders. Experience with large group consolidations would be an advantage.
