A tier one global asset manager is looking to hire an Interim Finance & Sustainability Reporting specialist to join their growing sustainability function on a 6-month contract in their London office.

Due to the recent roll out of the SFDR regulations on the 1st of January this year, asset managers with funds that have a sustainability aspect to the underlying assets are required to reporting under SFDR on an annual basis.

This firm are heavily in the implementation phase of SFDR and need a strong accountant with experience of financial, regulatory and ideally sustainability reporting to join their team during an imperative time for the business.

Responsibilities include;

  • Support sustainability related data collection/analysis and drafting of relevant commentaries;
  • Carry out analytical, quantitative and qualitative reviews of periodic sustainability reports;
  • Analyse and improve performance of current reporting applications and related operational workflows, including implementation of new workflow tools;
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple internal and external partners including service providers, auditors and boards of directors.

You must-be;

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong academics
  • Working knowledge reporting under US GAAP and IFRS
  • Experience of regulatory and/or financial reporting within an FCA regulated environment
  • Working experience in Sustainability is highly advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstratable experience of managing senior stakeholder relationships

£685 d/r with an umbrella company
