Start your job searchWe are representing a pioneering FinTech company based in Central London that is looking to hire a Financial Controller in what is their 2nd hire into Finance reporting the FD/CFO. The company are leading the way their clients get access to funding, offering a unique technology-based solution that allows for instant decisions to be made and "cutting out the middle man"
The role is very broad and you will get exposure to all aspects of the finance function and be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting as well as ad-hoc projects for the commercial team. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Act as a business partner to the various business units to provide financial analysis and advice
- Updating the monthly board pack and deputise for the CFO at board meetings where required
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end finance operations including P&Ls and Balance Sheets
- Preparing the year end financial statutory accounts
- Producing management accounts on a monthly basis and taking ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process, plus ad hoc MI requirements
As an ideal candidate, you will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience with a keen interest or experience in FinTech, particularly in the secured lending space (loans/mortgages etc).
