We are seeking a passionate Financial Controller to join the team for our client. Do you love working in hospitality but then from a finance perspective? If you are an inspiring leader and communicator with a genuine desire to be part of something big, this is the opportunity for you.

You have a nice chat with the cleaning ladies and bar tenders and one hour later you will attend a meeting with the General Manager. This is what you can expect.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and property reports
- Oversee financial accounts, prepare financial statements, and liaise with external auditors
- Manage property cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Supervise banking operations, loans, and other financial instruments
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Supervise daily operations (credit control, payroll, flash reports)
- Conduct benchmarking analysis on key financial metrics
- Manage Accounts Payable and purchase procedures
- Collaborate with the management team and GM
- Communicate financial responsibilities to all teams
- Support finance projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in finance or Accounting;
- 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience with Dutch GAAP & Dutch law regulations;
- Experience in analysis and requirement gathering
- Proven track record of cost-saving initiatives and new systems implementation
- Fluent in English, preferably also in Dutch!
