Start your job searchThis fast growing Technology Start-Up is currently looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in Central London. This role will initially see you working as the sole member within Finance however there is clear scope to grow the role and develop the finance team. With impressive year on year growth this is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in the company's future expansion plans in a broad all-encompassing role.
Reporting to the Managing Director your responsibilities will include:
- Sole responsibility for the finance function including the book keeping, sales & purchase ledger
- Payroll, VAT returns, Credit Control and working capital management
- Production of monthly management accounts including the implementation of KPI reporting and best practice finance controls
- Providing key financial insight through budgeting, forecasting and detailed financial analysis
This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equivalent) that is eager to join a start-up environment, take control of the finance function and grow alongside the company. You will possess excellent inter-personable skills and will be comfortable managing your time effectively and prioritising tasks. As the company/team grows there may be scope to gain managerial exposure so previous managerial exposure will be highly advantageous.
