Description: A leading fund house who is going through rapid expansion is seeking a qualified Fund Accountant to work within the in-house accounting function for a fixed term contract of 6 months paying £45-50k.
Responsibilities will include preparing quarterly and statutory reports for funds, debtor and creditor maintenance and reporting, cash management reporting, as well as building a number of ad-hoc reports. You will also maintain the fund entities on the general ledger, for this experience with Exchequer (GL system) would be a big advantage. Preparing month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings, as well as accruals and reconciling Limited Partners drawdowns and distributions will be expected. For this experience with Limited Partnership reporting and accounting will be a benefit.
You will be a qualified ACA, CIMA, ACMA, ACCA or equivalent. Experience in the financial services or an assets management environment is desired, with knowledge of private equity accounting and previous experience of the fixed income assets management a distinct advantage.
