A boutique alternatives Investor has a newly created role aligned to their debt funds. This position is an ideal move for an experienced fund accountant or Audit Manager looking to move into a role that offers broader operational and strategic insight. All granular fund accounting is outsourced with this role focused on deal and transaction support, portfolio analysis, structuring and relationship management of key stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

• Finance and middle office support to the London based investment team;
• Communication with the investment team, operational partners, internal and external counsel and third party service providers to understand existing and potential investments and implement deal corporate infrastructure;
• Providing deal execution and deal post-closing and ongoing support;
• Setting up accounting and reporting protocols and reviewing periodic reporting to provide assurance to primary stakeholders that the protocols are followed consistently and address any issues;
• Assisting with other projects as necessary

Your background:

• Qualified Accountant with exposure to credit or debt, private equity, real estate structures. This could be from a major Audit firm or via relevant experience in a fund accounting role at another manager.
• Preferably an understanding of closed-end structures
• First class communication skills and business partnering abilities
• Drive, passion and an intuitive personality
