Marks Sattin are working with a Professional services business in Sheffield who are looking to appoint a new Group Accountant. The ideal candidate will be from a practice background and be fully quailed or at the latter stages of study. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an exceptional Finance Director and be a part of a worldwide business where opportunities for progression, development and secondments are encouraged. Duties will include but not limited to:

• Group Management Accounts/Reporting
• Year end reporting including preparation of statutory accounts
• liaise with the relevant Financial stakeholders
• assisting with the preparation of the Group
• Support improvements to financial controls and other efficiencies
• Be a crucial point of contact in central finance for areas of responsibility including responding to ad-hoc queries and information requests
• Provide cover for the Senior Group Accountant as required
• Provide support to project and other finance teams as required
