We are working with a market leading PE backed business to attract a Group Accountant.
ACA qualified (or similar) trained by a Big 4 (or similar business), the successful candidate will have Group Consolidations and internal/external Reporting experience in a multi country, multi-currency environment. This is an ideal career opportunity for someone looking for their move in to Industry or a second role within Industry.
In recent years this PE backed organisation and its talented management team have successfully carried out an impressive growth plan, providing an exciting time to join as they are considering options to IPO in the near future.
Skills and Requirements of Financial reporting Accountant:
- ACA Qualified or similar
- IFRS and Group consolidation experience required (multi-currency, multi country)
- IFRS technical experience, in particular IFRS 3, 15, 16 and 9
Key Responsibilities of Group Reporting Accountant:
- Preparation of the annual consolidated statutory financial statements, including external disclosure notes
- Plan the year-end processes, including liaison and key point of contact with the external auditors; preparing the external audit and reporting timetable
- Preparation of supporting audit documentation including accounting papers to assist with audit close process
- Preparation and review of IFRS reporting and accounting papers for year-end; discussing with audit team
- Managing end-to-end delivery of Group statutory accounts
- Preparing Investor Communications
- Supporting External Communications through preparing briefing notes and explanatory schedules
