Our client is an internationally established and iconic luxury retail fashion brand with over 150 outlets enjoying year on year growth. An exciting opportunity has emerged for a driven and dedicated Head of Finance (Finance Director Designate) to join this fast paced and fast growing organisation.

The candidate will ideally have a background in fashion retail (or related retail business) looking for an opportunity in which hard work and passion can lead to fast and continuous company and career progression.

This role will require someone who has the ability to run the finance function as well as the commercial side of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
• Ensure the Finance Function is supporting business growth by ensuring robust information systems, processes and controls.

• Sales and margin analysis, supply chain analysis and evaluation of new business opportunities (including expansion into new international entities).
• Have a direct impact on the growth and development of the brand through domestic and international growth as well as E-commerce.
• As the role grows you will take a commercial lead on logistics, warehousing, IT and take on increased decision making responsibilities.

• Business partner with Executive Directors, department heads and buying teams across the group.
• Manage relationships with shareholders, banks, auditors, HMRS and add strategic value across a wide range of commercial activities.

Requirements:

• Technically qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Strategic and commercial thinker who is looking for a broad, 'hands-on' role.

• Natural leader and manager who can drive team performance and nurture the career progression of individuals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Experienced retail professional with a passion for luxury fashion retail.
