Our client is a highly entrepreneurial PE backed restaurant business based in central London and looking to recruit a financial number one who will be responsible for running the finance department and working closely with and reporting directly to the Chief Executive. The business has big growth ambitions and is owned by extremely successful PE backers looking to roll out the concept. This role has a unique opportunity for potential equity participation in the future.

This is a key role within the business involving aligning the objectives and priorities of the Finance department and the overall objectives of the board. The role requires a driven and results orientated leader able to identify opportunities for improvements in systems, processes, and controls in order to drive the continued growth of the business. You will commercialise the business through analytics, create KPIs and strategic metrics with in turn will help run the business. The Head of Finance will have a strong relationship with senior management and the board.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with a proven track record in managing and developing a small finance team. There will be extensive interaction with the wider business therefore the role requires someone with strong communication skills. A background in a multi-site restaurant business is desirable.
