Start your job searchA leading multi-site luxury retail brand based in Central London is seeking a vibrant Head of Finance to oversee its talented finance team, and drive the firm's rapid domestic and international growth. Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the senior team, this role puts you in a strategic position to affect the firm's financial direction.
The Head of Finance role requires you to take a hands-on approach to mentoring your team, fine-tuning their ideas to improve the business. Alongside the FD, you will be responsible for ensuring the firm's financial targets are met. Your planning will keep the senior team informed on the firm's progress, and other opportunities as they arise.
You will establish, maintain and improve financial processes, and develop multi-year business plans. The role will include formulating interim and end-of-year audits, full UK statutory accounts and monthly management accounts in a timely fashion. Other significant tasks include forecasting, budgeting and hands-on oversight of company stock.
The role would suit a candidate on an upward trajectory, eager to make their mark with a much-loved brand and enhance their career. The ideal Head of Finance candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA), preferably Chartered, with experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager, managing a small team in retail or a related business. The client would possibly consider an exceptional late first-mover out of practice with consumer client experience. You will have a strong desire to make a difference, displaying leadership and communication skills, drive and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
