Role - Head of Finance Location - St Helens Salary - Between £65,000 and £75,000 + benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a Head of Finance to work out of their office based just outside St Helens.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic background. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of working within manufacturing would be a distinct advantage. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working with an ERP system would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are critical as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Head of Finance role will involve:

• Responsibility for month-end close
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Cashflow management
• Oversee statutory accounts production
• Review of working capital
• Stock analysis
• Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
• Management of the finance team
• Project work

Salary for the role is anywhere between £65,000 and £75,000 + benefits.
