Start your job searchMy client is a leading fund administration business looking to hire a career paralegal with corporate/commercial experience from the financial services industry. My client is looking to grow their Agency, Credit and Structured Products team - so experience in this market would is desired.
A successful candidate will have strong experience as a paralegal in a top city law firm or form an in-house team in the financial services sector
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and dealing with transactional agreements and debt instruments such as loan agreements, client contracts and confidentiality agreements
- All aspects of commercial contracts; reviewing, drafting & negotiating
- Conducting legal research into the requirements in European jurisdictions and communicate with the businesses Compliance and in-house legal departments
- Support the Credit and Structure Team to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligation
- Advise on trustee requirements for different European jurisdictions
Candidate Requirements
- Experience as a paralegal in a top city law firm or in-house financial services team
- Understanding of corporate commercial law within financial services
- Familiar with private syndicated loans, securitization, secured transaction
- An understanding and interest of the fund administration industry
- Awareness of legal risk
- Experience of legal research
