Marks Sattin are currently working with a Leeds based manufacturing business to assist in the appointment of an Infrastructure Engineer (Skype for Business). The business are investing heavily in their IT function and therefore have this new role.

You will manage, maintain and develop the companies Skype for Business unified communications platform across their global data centres and regional offices. As the UCaaS Engineer, you will have a key role to play in supporting the unified communications infrastructure and its integration with many other systems.

You will have the opportunity to investigate emerging technologies and to enhance your own skills through on and off the job training. This role is well suited to people who have a keen interest in new technologies. There will be some overseas travel involved.

Responsibilities;

• Delivering and maintaining the firms Skype for Business solution.
• Preparing and maintaining high quality documentation relating to the unified communications and telephony solutions.
• Keeping up to date with emerging technologies in the field of unified communications and make recommendations to colleagues and management around new developments.
• To assist with the support and development of the O365 infrastructure.

Skills;

• Microsoft Skype for Business Online (including Enterprise Voice)
• Microsoft Azure & Office 365
• Microsoft SharePoint
• Ideally have Teams / Skype for Business mobile clients experience
• Ideally have Microsoft Active Directory 2012 / 2019 experience
