Interim CFO - Step-Up Opportunity - Payments Firm

About the Role & Company
We're hiring an Interim CFO for a fast-paced, founder-led fintech business operating in the payments space. This is a rare opportunity for a strong Head of Finance ready to take the leap into a CFO seat. You'll lead on strategic finance, commercial input, and operational rigour during a crucial growth phase.

Salary
£100,000 - £120,000 (pro rata) + potential to convert to permanent

12 month Fixed Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full finance function and partner with founders on strategy
• Provide commercial insights and support on fundraising and M&A
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
• Manage financial controls, board reporting, and investor relations

Selection Criteria

• Immediately available
• Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA, etc.)
• Experience in financial services - payments or fintech strongly preferred
• Background in working for smaller privately owned or founder-led businesses is preferred
• Strong accounting skills, financial reporting, financial control and forecasting.
• Great communication skills as facing of to C-suite
