My client is a large manufacturing firm who is on the look out for a Financial Accountant to join the firm on a 7 months FTC basis.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, the key objective is to maintain accurate and up to date accounts of the UK entity, accurate and timely month end close and reporting. The role also is involved in Group-wide reporting, treasury management as well supporting with the UK Statutory Audit process.

Key responsiblities include:

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations and resolution of issues
• Support with Month End process
• Support with adhoc monthly & quarterly reporting
• Significant involvement in the day-to-day transactional accounting

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified/part qualified
• Knowledge of MSD an advantage
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a logical manner with high volumes of data
• Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
• The ability to prioritise and change priorities at short notice
