Interim Management Accountant | Manchester | Up to £450pd | Immediate Start

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a dynamic and fast-growing business to recruit an Interim Management Accountant to support their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware finance professional to contribute to a high-performing team and support key financial processes across the group.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset postings
• Support the consolidation of group accounts and assist with external audit processes
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to corporate governance improvements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Provide finance business partnering support, offering insights and analysis to non-finance stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of finance systems and business intelligence tools
• Support VAT returns, reconciliations, and corporation tax reporting
• Assist with intercompany ledger reconciliations

About You

• ACA, ACCA, or ACMA qualified, with experience in a similar role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102)
• Awareness of recent UK GAAP changes
• Proactive, positive, and solutions-focused mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
