Start your job searchMarks Sattin are partnering with a large international mining company with the recruitment of an Internal Controls Manager to join their finance team based in London.
This is a newly created role within the group and will be tasked at reviewing groups internal controls ensuring the group meet global and local compliance requirements.
- Main point of contact for local and international compliance control standard queries
- Deliver training to stakeholders on financial reporting control standards
- Build relationships with internal and external audit teams
- Look for continuous improvement to internal compliance control processes and systems
- Play a key role in providing relevant input into the statutory year end process
- Line management of 2 direct reports
The successful individual will be qualified (ACA or CPA) preferably from one of the 'BIG 4' and have strong experience in dealing with complex stakeholder management at an international level.
Candidates are expected to be strong analytically and also be comfortable managing a team
SOX experience is essential
