Marks Sattin are working with a fast-growing construction supplier to recruit an international Payroll assistant on a 6 month part time basis, as a direct result of the company's growth in new markets.

The International Payroll Assistant will coordinate and facilitate payroll and benefits processes for the U.S sites so some evening work may be required.

Your Responsibilities as an International Payroll Assistant

This role will suit someone with a proven track record in Payroll & Benefits that wants to further develop their knowledge of U.K and U.S processes.

• Act as the primary point of contact between the company and US payroll provides, ensuring smooth communication and data transfer.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and other benefits offered to our US employees.
• Review and validate payroll data, including timesheets, employee information, and deductions, to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor the payroll processing timeline to ensure that deadlines are met and payments are processed promptly.
• Address employee inquiries relating to payroll, resolving issues and providing assistance as needed.
• Generate and review payroll reports to confirm data integrity and compliance with regulations.

Key skills and Experience

• Proven track record in payroll coordination ideally working with 3rd parties
• Understanding of U.S Payroll and benefits would be highly desirable
• High attention to detail and data integrity
• High proficiency in Payroll systems
• High proficiency in Microsoft suite in particular Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work evenings to align with the U.S
