IT Trainer - Legal Industry experience essential - £48k

An International Law firm is currently hiring for an IT Trainer. This role sits within the IT training team based in Central London and will be responsible for the education and awareness of core systems and tools as well as delivering and developing training and related materials for agreed projects.

Experience supporting the following project areas would be highly desirable:

· LTC4

· New time recording system (InTapp Time)

· Desktop UX (Office 2016, 365)

· Learning in Action

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing weekly induction training for all new joiners across all departments including PAs, Partners, Lawyers and Business Services staff.
  • Delivery of large seminar presentations and launch sessions, classroom and remote training.
  • Delivery of relevant 1-1, workshop and classroom training, to PAs, Partners, Lawyers and Business Services staff.
  • Raising the awareness and promoting the use of existing tools.
  • Regular floor walking and post training support, taking ownership of user issues, finding solutions and feeding them back to users.
  • Providing advanced training to IT Staff to create a team of experts in key desktop applications.
  • Reviewing and revising training based on Helpdesk calls to target common issues.
  • Producing a range of training materials, quick reference guides and training outlines.
  • Completing and maintaining all training administration, including booking rooms, equipment, scheduling training and maintaining training records and reports.
  • Updating and maintaining training material on the firm-wide intranet.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Legal firm training experience essential, familiar with the full training life cycle from training needs through to delivery.
  • Exposure to the use and administration of a Learning Management System.
  • Comprehensive experience of Office 2010/Windows10/FileSite 8.5 integration.
  • Knowledge of time recording systems, preferably Carpe Diem.
  • Excellent communication skills with a desire to educate and increase awareness.
  • Experience of developing and administering training using a cross section of training methods.
  • Experience in producing high quality training materials, through a variety of media.
  • Excellent organisation, coordination and administration skills.
  • Focus on the provision of excellent client service at all times.
  • Excellent team ethos, able to work independently.
  • Previous knowledge or experience of implementing a programme aligned to LTC4.
