My client a leading international organisation in Barnsley are currently recruiting for a commercially focused Management Accountant you will support and provide insightful financial analysis for a range of contacts within the industrial services sectors. The role will require you to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the financial controls and disciplines around revenues and costs are maintained at all times.

• Key Details: Undertake month end requirements, including the completion of monthly contract account preparation.
• Liaising with site administrators to ensure that the month end processes are undertaken - ensuring that contract costs are captured in an accurate and timely manner. A thorough review of revenues to be undertaken.
• Deliver high quality regular reporting, analysis and insights to business, forecasts, budgets and business plans with no surprises
• Deliver monthly business and financial results together with insightful analysis, commentary, in line with reporting timetables

• Manage a team of one direct report

• Work with Tender Proposal Analyst to manage pricing initiatives/tenders/proposals

Person Specification:

• Qualified with relevant professional accountancy body (CIMA preference)
• Strong Excel Skills & ability to pick up new systems quickly.
• Good communicator, able to lead by example and be able to business partner at all levels within the strategic business area whilst remaining hands-on with day-to-day issues
