We are actively seeking a Management Accountant for a highly reputable company on the Wirral.

The main duties include:

• Preparation of Management accounts
• Assisting the Finance Manager with Month End and Weekly reporting
• Controlling Fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments
• Management and production of Balance Sheet reconciliations and detailed variance analysis
• Preparing Cash Flow Forecast
• VAT return preparation
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Payroll reconciliations
• Assisting with Budget preparation
• Audit preparations, liaising with auditors

Our client is looking for someone who has:

• Management accounts experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations experience

Experience of preparing accounts for a group of companies is preferred, but not essential.
