A large UK-based hotels business is currently in search of a Management Accountant to join ASAP on an initial three month contract basis.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing monthly management accounts including:
• weekly bank reconciliations;
• balance sheet reconciliations;
• journal preparation;
• P&L reporting and analysis;
• variance analysis;
• revenue reporting and analysis;
• management reporting and commentary.
• Supervision of Accounts Assistant and managing their workload accordingly.
• Continuously looking to implement new processes and procedures to improve efficiencies.
• Some other ad hoc tasks may also be required during busy periods, including assisting Finance Manager where necessary.

Prior management accounts experience will be necessary. Moreover, knowledge of SUN would be highly beneficial, and intermediate Excel will be expected (v lookups, pivot tables). A background in hospitality would also be favourable.
